We are a multi-disciplinary complementary health centre in Southport offering complete healthcare including osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, osteopathy with acupuncture, medical herbs, counselling, sports massage & homeopathy. Open six days a week with full disabled access and parking.
There are 3 osteopaths at the practice: Kay Atkinson, Susan Feetham & Michael Evans. All of our osteopaths are qualified to honours degree standard and are state registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). We are located on Manning Road in Meols Cop, on the corner of Hawkeshead Street opposite Lathoms Bakery. Common conditions seen by osteopaths include sciatica, low back pain, neck pain, prolapsed intervertebral discs, whiplash injury, arthritis and sports injuries. Osteopathy helps to try to restore the function of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles and ligaments). The aim is to relieve pain and get you going again as quickly as possible. Patients of all ages can obtain benefit. The treatment is tailored to suit the individual.
Osteopathic Treatment
Osteopathic treament consists of gentle manipulation and stretching of the muscles, ligaments and joints. Treatment is not painful and rarely uncomfortable. Osteopathy is covered by all major health insurers including Medicash, Simply Health and Axa/PPP.
